How You Can Help

Financial Support
All gifts to Omaha Rapid Response (ORR) are tax deductible.

All staff and volunteers are responsible for raising personnel and ministry support. You may give to several different areas listed below. We ask that you please not write in the memo area of your check but include a note showing designation preference.

1. General Ministry Fund - This fund supports the general disaster and humanitarian aid relief work and administrative needs of ORR.
2. Country - The country to which you wish to designate your gift.
3. ORR Staff member - Staff members are full time or part time paid employees and are responsible for raising their own personnel support and trip expenses.
4. Team Members - Team members are volunteers who have committed to go on short term disaster or relief team and are responsible for raising their own support for trip expenses.
5. Area Most Needed

Or by credit card on our website through PayPal.

Omaha Rapid Response (ORR) is morally committed to honor the intention/designation of every gift. However, in accordance with IRS requirements for non-profit organizations, ORR cannot permit the receipting of charitable, tax-deductible gifts that are restricted by the donor for a specific purpose. If a donor gives to ORR, in compliance with IRS code, the donor releases all dominion and control of the donation. The IRS requires that ORR have the power to modify any restriction or designation if, in its sole judgment, such restriction becomes, in effect, unnecessary, incapable of fulfillment, or inconsistent with the charitable purposes of Omaha Rapid Response.

There are a number of ways to be involved with Omaha Rapid Response.

Volunteer as a team member or ground support
Team members: In order to travel with Rapid Response, you will need to complete an application, character reference and general release form. Once you have filled these out, you may send these to the address on our Contacts page.
Ground Support: Much preparation goes into sending a team. Ground support helps to obtain, sort, and pack supplies for our work. It also includes helping with day to day administrative needs between trips.
Staff Members: Applications are currently being accepted for staff member interest in full time or part time. All personal salary and travel expenses must be raised by the staff member if employed. If interested please email Aaron Hall, for more information.
